Tonight i just want to #blog whats on my #mind. I have worked with #seniors, #disabled people #cancer patients at cancer #centers. I basically have taken #care of people from all walks of #life and in different #stages of #life.
Touch Calms
And the one thing i have notice that has changed their continence, calmed their spirits, and gave them #peace the most out of all the #comfort measure i could #provide was a simple soft touch.
TOUCH IS IMPORTANT
There is a healing power in touch.
Touch #relieves the feeling of loneliness
Touch reminds your loved one they are not #alone.
Touch #communicates "I Care"
Touch is a underrated tool that can be used so much.
ONE TOUCH CAN CHANGE THEIR DAY
Love and compassion are felt in #touch. I once had a woman i #cared for cry and say to me you don't know how long its been since someone has touched me right after i gave her a warm hug.
So as you go about your busy day don't forget to hug and warmly touch the #elderly.
To some that touch is everything.
